On top of this, mission variety is huge in Modern Warfare, placing you in all kinds of different missions, from the weirdly zen 'Death from Above' where you take out tiny little enemies far below, the frenetic 'Shock and Awe.' Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is never as cinematic as its offspring, but it's far more immersive and dramatic.
